We are still planning on hosting this event. To meet new Covid guidelines, we have updated the course. We will start and finish at Gemini Bridges parking area. Because shuttles are not possible, we cannot transport runners for the point-to-point course. This doesn't mean that the course will be any less beautiful. We've added some desert singletrack to this already magnificent race. Because of county mandates on special events, we will allow a limited field to register. If local risk levels are moderate or low, we will add more spots two weeks before race day. Once the race is sold out, we will not make exceptions to add runners.
About Moab's Red Hot
The Red Hot is located northwest of Moab, Utah just west of Arches National Park. Red Hot runners will have majestic views of the La Sal Mountains to the southeast and breathtaking views of Canyonlands National Park to the west. The Red Hot is recognized as kicking off the ultra running calendar for most trail runners.

Directions to Start/Finish
From Center St. and Main St (Highway 191), head north out of town, approximately 10 miles. Make a left into Gemini Bridges parking lot. Runners must be dropped off in the parking lot. Drop offs are not allowed on Gemini Bridges Rd.
There will be parking attendants pointing out parking spots. If you park in an unacceptable location, BLM will issue tickets. Please adhere to parking attendants instructions to avoid tickets and ensure we can continue to work with the BLM for future events hosted by Mad Moose Events.
Runners will park at starting line and take a shuttle back to their car from the finish line.

Finish Line Information
The finish line is located at the Seven Mile Parking Lot. We will be serving runner approved goodies! We'll have water, soda, etc available.
All runners will receive a custom race shirt, custom BOCO Gear Technical Trucker Hat, and a finishers' medal.
