About Take 5 in the Garden
Who can turn down a morning in Garden of the Gods? We'll close the park to traffic, so runners can enjoy their race, traffic free! Choose between a 5k or 5 Mile course through the Garden of the Gods. Runners can choose between a road race or a trail race! Beginning in 2022, we've be added a 5 Mile Trail Race! Closed roads and beautiful scenery make this race through "America's Most Beautiful Park a must do!

Starts and finishes on Gateway Road off of 30th Street and travels through Garden of the Gods Park on closed to traffic roads

Aid Stations:
1 Water Stop on 5K Course
4 Water Stops on 5-Mile Course
3 Water Stops on 5 Mile Trail Course
7 Water Stops on the Double Take Course
Course Cutoff Information:
The course will close at 9:30 AM. The Double Take runners must enter the trail portion of the course by 8:15 a.m. If you miss the 8:15 a.m. cutoff, you will be directed to finish the 5 mile Road Race instead.

Information Regarding Packet Pickup Process:

You will need to have a photo ID in order to receive your packet.

Runners may pick up the goody bag and shirt of a registered runner, who will not be in attendance.

Runners may not pick up someone else's bib.

Entries are non-transferable

Finish Line Information
The finish line is located in the exact same location as the starting line. We will be serving runner approved goodies! We'll also have water, soda, etc available.

All Runners will receive a custom race shirt and a finisher's medal.
